MY STORY

"If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change"

Hello and a warm welcome.

My name is Peter Khan. After spending many years working for large corporate businesses in a variety of roles, towards the end, I found myself becoming increasingly disillusioned and unfulfilled in the corporate world.

When I asked myself the question: “Am I going to spend the rest of my life doing something I no longer enjoy doing”? I realised that I didn’t have to!

So, I took the decision to embark on a career more in keeping with my sense of self – of doing something more meaningful, rewarding and making a positive, tangible difference to people’s lives. My fascination with how the mind works (especially in the relationship between mind and body), led me to study hypnotherapy. I therefore, began my training with renowned Harley Street practitioner, Andrew Parr.

Unlike many hypnotherapists who use only suggestion hypnosis to help their clients overcome their problems or achieve their goals, the techniques I learned, bring about deep transformative change by using both analytical and suggestion hypnotherapy, together with Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, and various other modalities which I have learned over the years to help achieve the best outcomes.

Alongside hypnotherapy, I have a passion for studying many facets of personal development including psychology, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), body dynamics, anatomy, diet, nutrition, and NLP. I also enjoy mentoring young people, helping them to reach and realise their own inner wisdom and potential. Additionally, by utilising the skills I have learned in business, I also help new start-up companies get established and help existing small or medium-sized enterprises achieve better results in areas where they need a little more focus, such as customer satisfaction/retention and sales growth.

My aim is to always do my best for my clients. I like to treat people in the same way that I would like to be treated; with respect, compassion and understanding. I don’t subscribe to a ‘one size fits all’ approach in hypnotherapy and would rather use a life-time of experience, together with hypnotherapy, counselling and psychotherapeutic skills, to tailor make individual solutions to bring about the best results for my clients.

I have a diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and I am a certified Practitioner of The General Hypnotherapy Register.

I carry out treatments from home in Chafford Hundred and also from the South East Chiropractic clinic in Grays: www.southeastchiropractic.co.uk.   Please contact me if you have any questions.

I would be delighted to hear from you. Thank you,

Peter
